Whitney Cartwright is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She has over 11 years of experience in the healthcare field. She has been a nurse practitioner for 7 years working in outpatient cardiology. She is extremely passionate about heart health promotion in the community and has a special interest in preventative medicine.

She chose to specialize in weight loss management as she understands the importance of optimizing risk factors such as obesity to prevent chronic health problems. She also understands the complexity of obesity management, which varies from person to person. She feels a calling to educate the community to better understand obesity and to be an advocate for those who are suffering with the chronic disease.

Whitney has experienced obesity since childhood and with the success and support of an obesity medicine specialist, she has been successful in losing over 90 pounds. She wants to help others be successful in their health journey. She is dedicated to advancing her knowledge and is pursuing additional education and advanced certification in obesity medicine from the obesity medicine association.
